Dana D’Angelo ID’d as Woman Killed in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident on West Washington Avenue
El Cajon, California (September 11, 2020) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night in El Cajon as Dana Lynn D’Angelo, 51, of El Cajon.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened at about 11:02 p.m. Thursday, September 10, in the 100 block of West Washington Avenue.
According to the authorities, D’Angelo was walking across West Washington Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle that was heading westbound.

D’Angelo was pronounced dead at the scene at around 11:16 p.m.
Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash.
The El Cajon Police is investigating the accident.
