One Killed in Simi Valley Truck Accident on Highway 118 near Madera Road
Simi Valley, California (August 25, 2020) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Simi Valley, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:38 a.m. on the westbound Highway 118 Freeway near Madera Road.
According to the police, a box truck flipped over on the highway in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the truck on its side. It was blocking the westbound lanes of the highway.
The driver of the truck, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
