1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Malibu Car Accident on Canyon Road near Stunt and Schueren Roads
Malibu, California (August 25, 2020) – One person was killed and another was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident near Malibu, according to authorities.
At around 3:51 p.m., the authorities received a report about the accident on Canyon Road near Stunt and Schueren Roads.
A vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway and tumbled down about 100 feet.
Deadly Crash on Canyon Road in Malibu
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated one party who was trapped in the wreckage.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene while the extricated victim was airlifted to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Stunt Road was shut down between Mulholland Highway and Schueren Road for several hours due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
