Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on I-880 Freeway near Highway 101 in San Jose
San Jose, California (August 2, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in San Jose on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near Highway 101 at about 6 p.m. August 2.
A motorcycle is reported to have been struck by a big rig in unclear circumstances.
Officers who responded to the incident found the motorcyclist lying in the No. 3 lane and provided emergency care until crews with the San Jose Fire Department arrived.
