At Least 1 Seriously Injured in El Dorado Car Crash on Highway 49 near Crystal Boulevard
El Dorado, California(August 2, 2020) – At least one person sustained serious injuries when two vehicles collided on Highway 49 in El Dorado, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The Sunday morning crash happened at about 11:09 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway just south of Crystal Boulevard.
CHP officials said one of the cars involved flipped onto its side, and the other ended up off-road.
At least one person sustained serious injuries. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
Towing services were needed to remove both vehicles from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
