2 Injured, 1 Seriously, in Mariposa Motorcycle Crash on Highway 49 near Kemble Road
Mariposa, California (July 26, 2020) – Two people sustained injuries Friday morning in a crash involving a motorcycle in Mariposa, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The traffic accident happened at about 5:18 p.m. Friday, July 24, on Highway 49 near Kemble Road.
According to the CHP, a vehicle collided with the motorcyclist on Highway 49 at the William Sell Bridge for undetermined reasons.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital. One person was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by emergency responders.
The names of the patients and their condition were not immediately provided.
The road was shut down due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
