Man Killed in Oak Park Pedestrian Accident on Route 94 near Kelton Road
Oak Park, California (July 26, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in the Oak Park area of San Diego, according to a local news source.
The fatal pedestrian crash happened just after midnight on Route 94 near Kelton Road.
As per the report, a man was running across Route 94 when he was hit by a Dodge van.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were blocked at Kelton Road for nearly an hour due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
