3 Injured in Lamb Canyon Crash on State Route 79 near Gilman Springs Road
Lamb Canyon, California (February 19, 2020) – Three people were injured in a traffic collision between two vehicles on Tuesday morning in Lamb Canyon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at about 7:55 a.m. February 18, on State Route 79 north of Gilman Springs Road.
CHP said a white Buick LaCrosse was traveling south on SR 79 when, for unknown reasons, it drifted across the double yellow lines and collided with an oncoming white Honda Accord.
3 Hospitalized after Lamb Canyon Head-On Collision
The two occupants of the Buick were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
CHP said alcohol and drugs did not appear to have played a role in the collision.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the crash.
