Patricia Schultz Seriously Hurt in South Lake Tahoe Crash on SR-88 near Red Lake Road

South Lake Tahoe, California (February 9, 2020) – One of the two victims airlifted after a crash involving a big rig in South Lake Tahoe on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as Patricia Schultz, 80, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened on SR-88 near Red Lake Road at about 2:15 p.m. February 4.
According to CHP, Juan C. Hernandez, 40, of Vacaville was driving a tractor-trailer eastbound on SR 88 when he swerved partially into the westbound side at a corner and collided with an oncoming Honda.
Patricia Schultz Seriously Injured in South Lake Tahoe Crash
Patricia Schultz was a passenger in the Honda. She and the driver of the Honda, George Schultz, 81, were both airlifted to Renown Hospital in Reno with serious injuries.
Hernandez was uninjured in the crash.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the collision.
