Fontana, California (January 12, 2020) – A 42-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening in Fontana, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal motorcycle accident happened on Mango Avenue near Baseline Avenue and Wabash Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. January 11.

The authorities said the man was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with another motorcycle.

The man was unresponsive when officers from the Fontana Police Department arrived at the scene.

The rider, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The condition of the second motorcyclist, a 30-year-old Fontana man, was not immediately established.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
