Anthony Rojas ID’d as 15-Year-Old Skateboarder Killed in Pico Rivera Crash on Paramount Boulevard and Slauson Avenue
Pico Rivera, California (January 12, 2020) – The boy who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while riding a skateboard on Friday afternoon in Pico Rivera has been identified as 15-year-old Anthony Rojas, according to a local news source.
The collision occurred at about 3 p.m. January 10, on Paramount Boulevard and Slauson Avenue.
Rojas was riding a skateboard across the road in a crosswalk with three others when a box truck struck him and fled the scene.

Rojas was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities later located a truck and driver suspected to be involved in the accident. The driver, only identified as a 58-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run.
The crash is under investigation.
