Victim Seriously Hurt in Fatal Fresno Car Accident on Highway 180 near Peach Avenue ID’d as Leng Thao
Fresno, California (December 23, 2019) – 32-year-old Leng Thao has been identified as the driver who was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Saturday night in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major-injury crash happened on December 21, along Highway 180 near Peach Avenue.
As per the report, a Toyota Sienna driven by 33-year-old Christopher Her west in the eastbound lanes of the highway collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra pickup driven by Thao after missing several other vehicles on the highway.
Due to the impact, the pickup truck rolled over, and Thao was trapped in the wreckage.

Thao was extricated from his vehicle by fire department officials, along with paramedics who responded to the site shortly after the wreck. He was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Christopher Her was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed down for an hour and a half as police conducted the investigation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
