Boy Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident at Woodland Parkway and Rock Springs Road
San Marcos, California (December 17, 2019) – A 12-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a car in San Marcos on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2 p.m. December 16, in the area of Woodland Parkway and Rock Springs Road.
The authorities said the Woodland Park Middle School student was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The paramedics responded to the incident and rendered aid to the injured boy before being flown to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego for treatment.
Information about the involved motorist was not immediately provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the pedestrian accident is ongoing.
