Danny Martin ID’d as Tricycle Man Killed in Whittier Crash on Whittier Boulevard near Jordan Road
Whittier, California (December 17, 2019) – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding a tricycle Monday morning in Whittier as Danny Martin, 61, of Whittier.
The deadly accident happened at around 6:00 a.m. Monday, December 16 in the 16500 block of Whittier Boulevard near Jordan Road.
Authorities said Martin was riding his tricycle and crossing the roadway when for an undetermined reason, he was hit by a 2004 BMW that was traveling westbound.

Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Martin dead at the scene.
The driver of the BMW stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help cover the victim’s funeral expenses.
The accident remains under investigation.
