Indio, California (December 11, 2019) – A man was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in Indio, according to the Indio police.

The crash occurred at around 1:20 p.m. December 10, at Fred Waring Drive and Burr Street.

Police said a man was hit by a white Nissan car.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and found the victim lying on the road.

The man was transported by ambulance to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Nissan stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the investigators.

The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
