San Jose, California (December 11, 2019) – A 72-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late last month on Wednesday morning in San Jose.

The fatal pedestrian collision happened at the intersection of North 13th and East Santa Clara streets shortly after 8:00 a.m. on November 27.

As per the report, an elderly pedestrian was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection for unknown reasons.

The initial report indicated that the Silverado was turning from northbound 13th Street onto westbound Santa Clara Street at the time of the collision.

72- Year-Old Man Killed After San Jose Pedestrian Crash 

The victim sustained major injuries in the crash. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died after two days.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown to this time.

It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash and cooperated with the investigation.

The investigation is underway.
