Somis, California (December 4, 2019) – Six people including two children were injured in a car crash in Somis on Wednesday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Highway 118 at about 9:10 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a Dodge Journey was traveling eastbound on the roadway when it rear-ended a utility truck that was stopped at a traffic signal.
A Toyota Tundra pickup also crashed into the Dodge.
The 39-year-old woman who was driving the Dodge, her two children and her 23-year-old passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the Tundra and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
