5 Hospitalized after Coalinga Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 33
Coalinga, California (October 28, 2019) – Five persons were hospitalized after a semi-truck collision early Monday morning in the area of Coalinga, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 1:41 a.m. Monday, on southbound 5 Freeway, just north of Highway 33.
As per the CHP officials, a semi-truck and silver Toyota Corolla collided for unknown reasons. The Corolla was off the roadway after the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. Five persons occupying the Corolla were taken to Adventist Health in Hanford for treatment. The name of the patients and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
