Person Seriously Injured in Sonoma Pedestrian Accident at Arnold Drive and West Verano Avenue
Sonoma, California (October 28, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Sonoma, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident, which was reported at around 5:13 p.m., Sunday, October 27, happened in the area of Arnold Drive and Verano Avenue, near the Ernie Smith Park.
As per the report, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Arnold Drive and West Verano Avenue for an undetermined reason.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to the victim who sustained major injuries following the crash. The patient was then taken to a local hospital for treatment. However, at this time, the name and condition of the victim were not available.
Authorities described the car involved as Jeep.
No other details were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
