Leo Morris Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 80 Freeway in Citrus Heights

Citrus Heights, California (October 25, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Citrus Heights, Sacramento, on Tuesday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. October 22, on Interstate 80 Freeway near the Antelope scales.
38-year-old Leo Eldon Morris was reportedly riding a 2009 Kawasaki when he crashed into the rear of a 2012 Ford Fusion for unknown reasons.
Morris was ejected from the motorcycle and landed into the path of a big rig which then ran over him.

Morris was killed in the collision.
The 64-year-old Granite Bay truck driver and the 58-year-old Citrus Heights woman who was driving the Ford were unhurt and remained at the scene of the accident.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
