At Least 1 Seriously Injured in San Jose Motorcycle Crash on 880 Freeway Highway 237
San Jose, California (October 20, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the Interstate 880 Freeway near Highway 237 exit Friday, October 18.
As per the CHP report, a man was riding his motorcycle on the Interstate 880 Freeway when for an unknown reason, he collided with a silver Honda Civic.
At least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. The name and the condition of the victim at this time were not immediately available.
The CHP said one party involved in the crash fled on foot. It was immediately unknown if the authorities are looking into the case as a hit-and-run accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
