4 Killed in Plane Crash near the Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee
Truckee, California (July 27, 2021) – Four people were killed in a plane crash in Truckee on Monday afternoon, July 26.
The deadly plane crash was reported just after 1 p.m. near the Ponderosa Golf Course, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Bombardier CL 600 jet was trying to land at the Truckee Tahoe Airport when it crashed into a wooded area near the golf course and burst into flames.
Two flight crew members and two passengers were killed in the crash.
The identities of the deceased were not immediately disclosed.
Fire engines arrived to put out the flames caused by the crash.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
