1 Hurt in Woodland Car Crash on 5 Freeway near County Road 102
Woodland, California (December 10, 2020) – Four people were hospitalized after being injured in a car crash in Woodland on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near County Road 102 at about 2:31 a.m.
The authorities said the collision happened along the southbound lanes of the freeway.
A big rig and two cars were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
The firefighters who responded to the incident had to extricate some people from the wreckage.
Four people were transported to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
