2 Men, 2 Women Killed in Small Plane Accident at Corona Municipal Airport
Corona, California (January 22, 2020) – A small plane crashed in Corona on Wednesday afternoon killing two men and two women, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at the Corona Municipal Airport a while after 12:00 p.m.
A witness told the officials that the pilot was having some trouble taking off. The plane went off the ground initially but it failed to gain altitude and it bounced back onto the runway.
The pilot tried to take off a second time and at this time the wingtips were wavering from side to side and the nose was pitched up before it crashed.

An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board is underway.
