San Diego, California (June 17, 2021) – A motorcycle passenger was seriously injured in a collision that occurred in the Rolando area of San Diego on Wednesday night, according to San Diego police.

The crash occurred at around 10:10 p.m. June 16, on El Cajon Boulevard near Seminole Drive.

According to police, a 40-year-old man was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle east on El Cajon Boulevard when he collided with a 2012 Honda Accord making a left turn onto southbound Seminole Drive from the westbound El Cajon Boulevard.

Motorcycle Passenger Seriously Hurt in San Diego Motorcycle Accident 

A 32-year-old woman who was a passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a hospital with a fractured pelvis.

The 40-year-old rider sustained minor injuries to his right hand and leg.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities said intoxication was not suspected in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
