Three Injured, One Critically, in Pittsburg Crash at Railroad and California Avenues
Pittsburg, California (October 22, 2020) – Three people were injured Wednesday night in an alleged DUI crash at an intersection in Pittsburg, authorities said.
The major-injury collision took place at about 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, at the intersection of Railroad and California avenues.
Police said more than one vehicle was involved in the crash. There were no details about what led up to the collision.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage. The patient was then taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Two other people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Police determined that one of the involved drivers was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. The driver was treated for their injuries before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
