2 Killed in Banning Plane Crash near Banning Municipal Airport
Banning, California (July 30, 2021) – Two people were killed in a plane crash in Banning on Friday morning.
The fatal plane crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. near Banning Municipal Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration said a plane with two occupants crashed in the area for unknown reasons and caught fire.
The two unidentified occupants were killed in the crash.
Nobody on the ground was injured.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
