Chino Hills, California (June 12, 2019) – Two women were killed and five other people were injured Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Chino Hills, according to authorities.

The fatal crash was reported just after 8:15 a.m. on the southbound 71 Freeway at Butterfield Ranch Road.

Authorities said the collision involved a total of six vehicles, including a box truck. As a result of the crash, the box truck flipped over and landed on top of a car.

Two women in a white Honda Accord died in the accident. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.

Five others were transported to nearby hospitals with unspecified injuries. Their current conditions remain unknown.
