Two People Hospitalized After Crash on Kiefer Boulevard in Rosemont, East Sacramento
Rosemont, California (January 12, 2021) – Two people were injured Tuesday night when two vehicles collided on Kiefer Boulevard in East Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash took place at about 8:51 p.m. on the westbound Kiefer Boulevard at Sport Drive in Rosemont.
According to the CHP, a blue Toyota sedan and a silver van were involved in the crash.
Responding crews found one person trapped in one of the vehicles. The trapped party was conscious and talking. Authorities said two people were injured in the crash. One patient was transported to Keiser Medical Center with complaints of pain to the back, and the other was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for a possible concussion. The CHP described the injures as major.
