Two Injured in San Diego Crash on Interstate 805 near Governor Avenue

San Diego, California (April 3, 2019) – Two people were injured in a traffic accident in the University City area Wednesday afternoon, according to local news.
The crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on Interstate 805, just north of Governor Avenue.
As per the report, the California Highway Patrol said a white four-door Toyota Avalon was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 805.
The force of the impact caused the Toyota to spin out of control and ended up on its roof on the right side of the freeway.

One occupant of the Toyota sustained serious injuries while another suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
