Nipomo, California (June 18, 2021) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a traffic collision in Nipomo, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Division Street and Bonita School Road.

CHP said a truck and a car were traveling in opposite directions on Division Street when, for unknown reasons, the truck turned directly into the path of the car.

The truck flipped onto its roof after the collision. The car sustained major front-end damage upon the impact.
