1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 96 near Seiad Creek Road in Yreka
Yreka, California (January 25, 2021) – One person was killed in a rollover crash in Yreka on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 11:07 p.m. January 23, on State Route 96 near Seiad Creek Road.
A 2000 Dodge 2500 pickup truck was traveling on the roadway when the driver lost control and rolled down an embankment.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities determined that the driver wasn’t using a seatbelt.
