1 Killed in Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Ogilby Road in Winterhaven, Imperial County
Winterhaven, California (January 27, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a car accident near Winterhaven in Imperial County on Wednesday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6 a.m. on Interstate 8 Freeway near Ogilby Road.
The authorities who responded to the incident located one vehicle at the scene of the accident. It is unclear if other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The Imperial County Sheriff’s Department said one person was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
