1 Killed in Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Highway 62 in Palm Springs
Whitewater, California (May 1, 2021) – One person was killed in a car accident that happened in Whitewater near Palm Springs on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happed at about 4 a.m. on Interstate 10 Freeway near Highway 62.
Officers from the Riverside County Fire Department who responded to the incident located a vehicle on its roof, about 30 feet down an embankment.
One occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
