Walnut Creek, California (November 17, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Walnut Creek on Monday night.
According to a local news source, the fatal pedestrian accident happened on Interstate 680 Freeway near the Treat Boulevard on-ramp at about 10:46 p.m. November 16.
A pedestrian was on the roadway for unknown reasons and was hit by a white Chrysler sedan.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
