1 Killed in Car Crash at West Artesia Boulevard and Normandie Avenue in Gardena, Los Angeles
Gardena, California (December 23, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a car accident in Gardena, Los Angeles, on Sunday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened in the area of West Artesia Boulevard and Normandie Avenue at about 6 a.m.
As per the report, a gray Honda Civic was traveling eastbound when it was rear-ended by a black Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
The impact of the collision sent the Honda Civic across the intersection where it crashed into a traffic signal.
A passenger in the Honda was killed in the accident.
The authorities said one person was injured in the accident.
24-year-old Jonathan Salazar of Vista, who was driving the Mitsubishi, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No other information was provided.
