1 Killed in Riverside Car Accident on Pomona (60) Freeway near Rubidoux Boulevard
Riverside, California (October 2, 2020) – One person was killed in a car accident in Riverside on Thursday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported at about 10 p.m. on westbound Pomona (60) Freeway near Rubidoux Boulevard.
A vehicle is reported to have rolled over the right side of the freeway for unknown reasons. The vehicle reportedly caught fire after the collision.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The collision blocked the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
