1 Killed in South Gate Car Crash on 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway
South Gate, California (January 10, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality that happened on Long Beach (710) Freeway in South Gate on Saturday morning.
The accident happened at about 8:22 a.m. on northbound I-710 near Imperial Highway.
The CHP officers who were dispatched to the scene found a man lying in the middle of the Imperial Highway off-ramp. The circumstances of the accident were yet to be established.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
