1 Killed after Amtrak Train, Capitol Corridor Train Collide in Hayward
One Killed in Hayward Train Accident
Hayward, California (November 19, 2020) – One person was killed after an Amtrak train and a Capitol Corridor train collided Monday afternoon in Hayward, according to a local news source.
The deadly train accident happened at around 2:40 p.m. Monday, November 16. The exact scene of the collision was not mentioned in the report.
Authorities said the Capitol Corridor train was heading to San Jose from Sacramento when, for unknown reasons, it collided with the Amtrak train.
