1 Killed and 5 Injured in Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Haugen Lehmann Way in Whitewater
Whitewater, California (December 3, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a car crash in Whitewater on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 10 Freeway near Haugen Lehmann Way at about 4:52 p.m. December 2.
A vehicle reportedly drifted off the roadway and overturned onto its roof.
The authorities said one person was killed in the accident.
Five other people were injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries sustained by the victims was not immediately established.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
