Desert Hot Spring, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was killed and five others were injured early Sunday morning in a traffic collision in Desert Hot Spring, authorities said.
The deadly crash occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 62 and Pierson Boulevard.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided at the Desert Hot Spring intersection.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Five other people were transported to a local hospital, three with major injuries and two with minor injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available.
