1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 101 near Carmen Drive in Camarillo, Ventura County
Ventura, California (July 4, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Camarillo, Ventura County, early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:04 a.m. on Highway 101 near Carmen Drive.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, one vehicle reportedly flipped onto its side after the collision.
The paramedics who responded to the incident had to extricate one party who was trapped in a vehicle.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was injured in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
