1 Injured in Bicycle Accident at Shaw Avenue and Blackstone Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, California (September 16, 2020) – A man was hospitalized after being injured in a bicycle accident in Fresno on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. in the area of Shaw Avenue and Blackstone Avenue.
A Dodge Caravan was traveling westbound on Shaw Avenue and was going through the intersection when it struck the bicyclist who was crossing the street.
The male bicyclist sustained leg injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
