1 Injured in Car Accident on 215 Freeway near Washington Street in Colton
Colton, California (May 16, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision in Colton on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 215 Freeway near Washington Street at about 7:05 a.m.
A Chevrolet pickup truck and a second vehicle, possibly an SUV, were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the crash and was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
