1 Seriously Injured in Collision on 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road in Castaic
Castaic, California (October 31, 2020) – One person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened in Castaic on Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road.
An SUV was traveling on the freeway when it lost control and overturned at the crossover lane.
The authorities said one person was injured in the accident and was transported to a trauma center for treatment.
The CHP temporarily blocked all lanes of the freeway.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
