1 Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 101 in Sonoma County
1 Killed in Sonoma County Accident on U.S. Highway 101 near Geyserville Avenue

Sonoma County, California (March 22, 2019) – One person was killed Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision in northern Sonoma County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident was reported at around 2:57 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 101, just north of Geyserville Avenue.
The CHP said four to five vehicles were involved in the collision. One person was pinned inside a vehicle.
Fatal Car Accident in Sonoma County Friday
One person was declared dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released pending identification and notification of the family.
A Sig-Alert was issued at about 3:15 p.m. blocking all lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 101 for three hours as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Traffic was diverted off of the U.S. Highway 101 via the Geyserville Avenue off-ramp.
As of 6:21 p.m. all the lanes were reopened. According to the CHP the Sig-alert was canceled at 6:21 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
