Asia Boatwright Killed in Inglewood Car Accident at Glasgow Avenue and Olive Street

Inglewood, California (May 3, 2021) – Authorities have identified one of the two people killed in a two-vehicle collision last week Wednesday night in Inglewood as 22-year-old Asia Boatwright.
The deadly crash took place in the area of Glasgow Avenue and Olive Street at approximately 10:35 p.m.
The accident happened when a blue Dodge pickup truck driven by 42-year-old Gustavo Ruelas Jr. at a high-rate of speed was being pursued by the California Highway Patrol officers on April 28.
The Dodge then ran a stop sign and broadsided a white Nissan sedan at the intersection in the night hours.
Asia Boatwright and 27-year-old Ryan Davis, her boyfriend, were riding in the white Nissan at the time of the collision.

Sadly, both Boatwright and Davis died in the accident.
Gustavo Ruelas Jr., who fled the scene, was later arrested by the CHP from a nearby business
An investigation into the accident is underway.
