Gary Burrows Injured in Kerman 2-Vehicle Collision at California Avenue and Howard Avenue
Kerman, California (July 26, 2021) – One of the two Kerman victims who were hospitalized after being involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Kerman Saturday night has been identified as 50-year-old Gary D. Burrows Jr., the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly head-on crash occurred in the area of California Avenue and Howard Avenue at approximately 8:15 p.m. on July 24.
The accident happened when a 1995 Chevrolet pickup moving at a high rate of speed westbound on the roadway lost control and swerved into the eastbound lane. The pickup then crashed head-on into a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Burrows Jr. east on California Avenue.
Kerman Crash Injures Gary Burrows
Gary and his passenger sustained minor injuries following the crash. Both victims were rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center for medication.
Sadly, the speeding motorist and his passenger were pronounced dead at the crash site.
An investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
