Authorities ID’d 26-Year-Old Zaira Lamas as Victim Killed in Fresno 2-Vehicle Crash at Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue
Fresno, California (September 12, 2020) –26-year-old Zaira Lamas, of Fresno, has been identified as one of the victims who died following a traffic collision Thursday night in Fresno.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., September 10, authorities responded to the deadly accident at Maple Avenue and Mono Avenue.
The accident began when a silver BMW driven by 32-year-old Richard Blair-Rodriguez north on Maple Avenue, at high speed, veered off into the southbound side for unknown reasons. The BMW then crashed with a Hyundai that was operated by Lamas.

Sadly, Lamas and her 10-year-old passengers died in the wreck.
Blair-Rodriguez was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
A female party, riding in the Lamas’ vehicle, was hospitalized with major injuries.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
