2 Injured in Yuba City Crash on Highway 99 near Sacramento Avenue

Yuba City, California (June 20, 2021) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision that took place Sunday afternoon in Yuba City, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision happened at around 4:46 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 near Sacramento Avenue.
A gray Toyota Tundra collided with a black Dodge Ram that was allegedly driving recklessly prior to the crash all the way from Yuba City.
The report said the accident resulted in major injuries. A juvenile was bleeding from the head and a male party was unconscious after the accident. An air ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patients to the hospital.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
